Ajit Foundation improves the effectiveness of disaster relief and helps save and rebuild the lives of people affected by disasters in the nation. During COVID-19, The organization aided in educating the public regarding COVID-19 outbreak and the necessary precautions to be taken, also Support extended to affected sectors comprising miners, construction workers, farmers, and their families in the form of providing ration & essential supplies.

COVID-19 RELIEF CAMPAIGN

According to World Health Organisation Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness. The first case of the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic in India was reported on 30 January 2020, originating from China. As of 27 April 2020, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare have confirmed a total of 27,892 cases, 6,185 recoveries (including 1 migration) and 872 deaths in the country.

 

 

Seeing the plight of migrant labours, Ajit Foundation decided to support these people in the difficult times through distribution cooked food, dry ration, reusable masks, AND soaps. In this regard, The organization has been working since the 1st week of April in Barshi, Bhoom, Paranda by providing the marginalized population with dry ration and cooked food. We are serving to 500 families every day.
